We have had our puppy since she was 6 weeks old and even at that young age we realized that she was definitely running our house. We decided that we needed someone to come in and show us the proper way of dealing with her issues. Chloe had housebreaking issues among other things and so we decided to hire Well Mannered Dog Training Charleston to help us out. We knew it would be difficult, not only did Chloe have issues but so did we, my husband struggles with a brain injury and so remembering things can be hard for him, so we knew we needed one on one attention.
Well Mannered Dog Training sent us Tanya, right away Chloe knew who the boss was now!! Tanya explained some of her behaviors to us and gave us some solutions to the issues we were having. Now we are on our way to being in control of Chloe, I can’t say that it was easy, there was practice involved and making sure that Chloe knew who was boss and to be honest we still struggle with this on a daily basis, but we can see that with much needed practice Chloe is on her way to being a better dog.
One of the commands she is great at is place, she runs over to her bed like a wild child, she loves that command. We enjoy watching how Tanya handles her and how they interact together. We found out getting a better dog is hard work, but if you can stick with it and try to follow the advice given that it is possible.
We will continue to work with Chloe and are grateful for all the advice and help and would recommend Tanya and Well Mannered Dog Training in a heartbeat. But we won’t say it doesn’t take practice and dedication, it does!! But with the right tools the results are wonderful and we now enjoy our Chloe that much more. Thanks for all you help!
