We have three dogs – a Boxer named Brody, an Irish Setter named Izzy, and a Maltese named Jack. Overall, they’re great dogs but each had their own “quirks” that we wanted to work on. Brody didn’t listen to me very well, but was great with my husband. Izzy liked to tip over the trash can and steal food off the counters when no one was around. Jack got excited or scared and always peed. All three dogs weren’t very good on a leash and bark a fair amount as well.
We found out about Well Mannered Dog Training Charleston by doing a web search for in-home dog training because it was going to work best with our schedules if someone could come to us. Plus, by having an instructor come to the house, they’d get a better understanding and feel for the dogs’ true personalities and they would be more comfortable.
We also were expecting our first baby and we wanted to get some “ground rules” laid for the dogs before our new addition arrived. So, we called and were set up with Tanya!
We were immediately impressed with the program and with Tanya. The dogs liked her and quickly respected her. She addressed all of our concerns and worked around our busy schedule. The dogs all walk on a leash well and their respective “quirks” are under control. We would definitely recommend Well Mannered Dog Training Charleston and particularly Tanya to any dog owners!
